And of course, thanks most of all to the LORD God, Who answered my prayer-- my dangerous prayer-- and steamrollered me with His divine Love.  The results of which was my complete metamorphosis:

consumed in His Fire

My ashes blew away on the Wind

But then, Phoenix-like,
My newly reborn self emerged

More loving
More able to feel

More deeply

Understanding:
God
Love
What makes life worth living

And what is worth dying for.
